Hi All.
I feel a bit self-conscious posting this here, because I've let this account "slip" a bit. I'm not nearly as active on DA as I used to be, mostly because other things have chewed up a lot of time.
Even so, I do have this latent desire to carve out some more "visual art" space in my life.
Anyway.
When it all comes down to it, whenever I've done something that I felt was worthwhile, what it all came down to was helping other people create their own art. The whole "commercial success" thing - prints, commissions, etc - has never gone my way. So, instead of pursuing that route some more, I figured I'd take a stab at the "patronage" mo
I Guess The Layout Might Qualify As Art
Not too long ago, I went live with my new website.
The site is a place where I can write and post my own articles about sound and music in small venues. I built my own WordPress theme by hammering at "2012" for several days.
Oh!
And I also made my own scrolling banner in JavaScript from scratch. No jQuery. (Not that jQuery is bad, I just wanted to see if I could do it myself.)
