Space Plate OBJ by dmaland Space Plate OBJ by dmaland
This little guy was mostly to test an idea of mine about "quasi-procedural texture generation. I thought I'd release the model and maps for folks to maybe get some "spice up a scene" usage out of the results.

Credit is appreciated if you use this as a significant component in a scene.

Every so often, I will have a hip-hop show come through. The DJ's will often use Serato to supplement what they're doing with actual vinyl.

I don't know when I'll see/ hear it in action again, with my doors closing at the end of next month. It's on my radar though.

Oh, sorry, I can't remember who I've told what.

The outreach-project venue that I run is being suspended at the end of the year. The church is moving to a temporary location, so we won't have a 7-day-a-week space available for me to make loud noises in.

It's an outreach to try to use our resources for the benefit of art in our city. Its total "uptime" has been just a bit less than 3 years, although those years haven't been contiguous. Version 1 went for about a year and a half, and Version 2 has been about a year and a third.
